Preparations for DOPA PET-CT Scan

1. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid jewellery or metal objects.
2. 5-6 hrs fasting is recommended.
3. Avoid strenuous physical activity or exercise 24 hours prior to the scan.
4. Lactating women to store her breast milk (Breast feeding can be done only after 24 hours).
5. Carry previous PET-CT reports, CDs, medical records, recent serum creatinine and fasting blood sugar reports

   Note:

   • It is advised to take an adult attendant. Children and pregnant women are not allowed to the centre as an attendant.
   • You are advised to report 1 hour before the scheduled time.
