About PSMA PET Scan
F18 Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) PET scan is a non-invasive imaging technique that helps diagnose prostate cancer and determine its spread to other organs, bones or lymph nodes. It requires a doctor’s prescription and 5-6 hours of fasting. The scan accurately detects metastatic prostate cancer throughout the body. For tracking prostate cancer cells, PSMA PET scan uses 18F-PSMA. With the help of this radioactive substance, the scanner detects the prostate cancer cells present in the body. Book a PSMA PET scan at an affordable cost and get reports verified by our expert doctors within 24-48 working hours.
